Best National French PhD Award in Robotics

The 15th of October 2019, I have been awarded the national Prix GDR Robotique. This prize awards the best PhD thesis among the ones defended in 2018 in any lab and university in France in the field of Robotics. The GDR Robotique is the French national network in the robotic research.

My PhD thesis - entitled "Theory and Applications for Control and Motion Planning for Aerial Robots in Physical Interaction with particular focus on Tethered Aerial Vehicles" - has been developed at LAAS-CNRS, in the team RIS, under the supervision of Antonio Franchi and Juan Cortés, and within the framework of the AEROARMS EU H2020 project.

The award has been announced and bestowed at Vittel during the national day of the robotics research (Journées Nationales de la Recherche en Robotique - JNRR2019)
